Yea – It’s almost summer! You may need a lightweight little cardigan to wear over a tank, a tee or an elbow length top.

This Summertime Cardi fits the bill – lightweight, and easy wear, and easy to make – no buttons or fasteners in the front, but shaped to fall perfectly across you.

Remember, it will fit you – you decide where the decreases happen along the front of the cardi, so that when you wear it, it will be the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe.

You can use any size yarn, but for me, I used Flecks yarn from Michaels (Loops and Threads). 590 yards in a lightweight #4 size yarn on the skein for $9.99. For a medium type size, U used about 900 yards with a J hook.

Enjoy making this Summertime Cardi to add to your casual wardrobe for spring/summer/fall – think of a beautiful sage or rust for fall wearing – before it gets too cold – brrrrr!
