Description
Your Winterscape Wrap is an easy make and a beautiful finish with edging that looks difficult to crochet, but is not, and is appropriate for a beginning crocheter. Intermediate and advanced crocheters should be able to crochet this wrap quickly.
I designed this wrap to be easy to crochet, with some interest with baubles and a simple double crochet base – the edging makes it so special. I crocheted with Colorscape yarn by Red Heart. This particular yarn is very subtle in its color changes, and is not stripey, so the wrap is not screaming ‘color changing yarn’ if you select one of these Colorscape yarns – I chose Bangkok, a mixture of subtle gold, medium green and grey with some light blue blended in. I really like it for plenty of color, but again, not stripey when crocheted.
I show a general layout of the wrap, but you can, of course, make changes to the rows to make it your design. The start is center top, so there are no long chains to manage and the final size you choose can be decided long into your project – my preferred way to make a scarf or wrap.
Happy Crocheting!
