Description
Just in time for your fall wardrobe – an easy pullover with contrasting lines of color – A classic look in two dark colors or use bright highly contrasting colors for an eye catching pullover.
I designed Winterberry holding two strands of a #2 weight together, so you could use one strand of #4 or find a couple of yarns in your stash that would look pretty held together – just make sure you have some other colors for the contrasting design lines.
Long lines of contrast make this pullover so interesting — and they’re easy as ever to crochet – the lines are crocheted near the end of the project so you can’t make a mistake! The sleeves are crocheted right onto the front and back fabric, so moving this garment off the hook is quick and easy.
I have designed Winterberry with a boat neck and optional instructions for a different, shaped neckline, bell sleeves and a wide bottom hem band in the contrast color to anchor your garment.
However, you be you, and design yours however you want. I always suggest making a pattern of mine twice or more, so you can tweak the pattern however you feel would look best on you on that second go-round.
Enjoy, and happy crocheting!
