Description
Why do our sweet babies get all the softy light knitwear? Why not use some of that ‘designed for baby’ yarn to crochet a grown-up Soft Summer Sweater?
Most baby yarns offer a color or two that may be considered an ‘adult’ color – mine is an ombre type yarn with soft greys, coral and white (Hobby Lobby Baby Bee).
The colors are not stripey, but create a ‘splochy’ fabric. To me, it looks ok, and says, ‘handmade’ with love for sure.
I’ve designed this sweater with a special stitch row pattern and a neckline and sleeves which are up to you to design in your own way. I hope you enjoy crocheting a Soft Summer Sweater of your own!
Blessings!
