Description
Designing a Plain Jane Tee should have been easy, but I found that the yarn I chose and the edging I chose to crochet on this tee, made this little garment more special than some others I have created.
The Caron Cotton Angel Cake in Coral Rose –absolutely perfect for this tee – gave the fabric a mottled look – color pooling at its most subtle. I love the way it crocheted, going from a light soft pink to a darker pink and then back to the light, all the while meandering in the colorway with no plan at all. Just what our summers should be like…
The type of yarn for this tee should give the interest – not the stitch pattern. That’s why I call it the Plain Jane – because the stitches are quick and easy – I made this tee in just a few sittings. No decreasing or increasing on the main fabric. I do offer optional neckline and armhole shaping instructions.
This is a fuss free pattern and I hope you like it – whip up several Plain Janes for your summer wardrobe!
Happy Crocheting!
