With summer almost here, we are looking to warm days and slightly cool nights – this top will be a comfortable one and here’s why…

Designed with treble crochet stitches, this top will breathe with the slightest breeze and keep you cool when the temps go up!

A lacy top portion and sleeves give lots of opening for cooling off, and the body of the top is open enough to allow breezes in, but crocheted tight enough for this top to be worn alone, without a tank underneath.

That’s a win win for me, so I try to design my summer tops without the need for an undergarment, which can make the top too hot for summer. You can also crochet this top in a boxy fashion, for a very casual, easy look, or more fitted and dressy or formal.

As with all my designs, Lydia’s Lace will fit you! You decide how much ease is comfortable for you, and you go with that measurement. Then, you continue designing this top to fit you as you move through the pattern. There are no numbers of stitches to keep up with, no ‘exact’ measurements you must conform to, and no ‘sizes’. Only your measurements are used.

My patterns are written in conversational style. This pattern has no decreases or increases!
