Description
Everyone needs a Christmas sweater. Think of all the places you can wear one…
…to a party, to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations, to serve Christmas dinner to your family, to go out to eat, to open gifts by the tree, to watch your childrens’ Christmas play, or attend that special holiday concert.
Now, wouldn’t you like to make a holiday sweater that fits you?? A sweater in Christmas colors, that falls just the right length so you don’t have to tug on it – that is not too long over your wrists – that is not cut too low in the front – that is not too tight around your body, even if you ate a bit too much at that last party…
My Joyful Flower pattern outline will fit you – your arm length, your torso length, your hip measurement, the depth of the neckline. All will be to your specifications. I will give you the instructions, of course, including details for crocheting your Joyful Flower from your first chain, all the way to weaving in your yarn ends.
As you can see, the colors of this sweater are the ones found in our beautiful poinsettias that we see everywhere at Christmas time. We decorate our homes at holiday time with these gorgeous plants. They bring a bit of holiday spirit to our personal spaces – so why not make a sweater using their rich, deep colors?
Because this sweater will fit you, the amount of yarn is up to you. I used 4 skeins of Red, 3 skeins of Green and 1 skein of black — all sparkle yarn.
As a BONUS — Joyful Flower Christmas Cowl is included in this pattern! Make yourself something beautiful for Christmas!
Happy Crocheting!
