Description

I am totally inspired by Marie Wallen’s Aoife (pronounced eef-ah) Scarf which is shown in her beautiful book, Winter Crochet. I decided to crochet a cowl in the same types of colors.

For this design, I have created a simple motif with 4 rounds. I am using City Tweed from KnitPicks for my color selections.

I selected mostly muted colors, but I invite you to enjoy the experience of selecting your own. There are a myriad of ways to interpret this garment, from bright colors in cottons for spring to muted colors for fall and winter wear.

The edging is delicate and very easy to crochet. This can be a quick make using stash yarns, for gifts or for your wardrobe in different interpretations.
