Fall is approaching and I’m beginning my crochet fashion designs for the cooler seasons. This Frosty Pullover is my first fall design, using Mandala Ombre yarn in the Joy colorway. Two cakes and this one is done. Now, I designed it as a crop pullover, but you can make it your own by adding some length (you will need that third cake).

The continuing design element is the window row at the sleeves, neckline and hem to tie this pretty pullover together. The Ombre yarn is busy, but the window row elements draw the eye to the edges, and color changes are not as rigid as I first thought. I do like this pullover and it is totally comfortable, just right for the 70 degree days we will be enjoying.

If you run ‘warm’, you can crop this pullover as it is designed, or add more length to the sleeves and hem to be a style you may prefer. I’m not a fan of tight, cropped sweaters, but this one has (for me) an ease of 8 inches around so there’s plenty of room for movement.
