Description
Have you ever wanted to crochet a sweater without a lot of fuss? If you are a beginner crocheter or a more advanced crocheter who wants to whip up a quick winter sweater in a few short days, this may be the pattern for you.
Totally size inclusive and easy to crochet, you can raid your stash (or splurge on some new yarn) and get to work on your prettiest winter sweater. There are basically no details on this one – I crocheted 2 strands of yarn together – a size #4 worsted and a tiny #2 yarn. Coupled with a large K hook (6.5 mm), the crochet time on this easy pattern is short. Make this your next go-to easy to wear sweater for this winter!
To be specific, I used Mary Maxim Best Value in Merlot (deep purple) and a strand of Mary Maxim Pastoral knits in pink. Two beautiful colors, which blended together, adding interest without complicated stitch patterns and detail to give the sweater a pop. You can use a bulky yarn #5 instead of holding 2 yarns together.
You might try this sweater to complete a winter item before the weather changes, or crochet it in a spring color and a lighter yarn. It’s up to you!
Enjoy !
