Description
If you watch my YouTube channel (On the hook crochet with Jeanne) you will know that when I purchased this yarn from KnitPicks, I knew I had to work on it right away! It is City Tweed in the Lemon Curd colorway and is absolutely beautiful to work with. Soft, and wooly warm, it’s the perfect yarn to build a sweater to wear on cold winter days. It’s cozy – what can I say?
You can crochet Cobblestone in any yarn you want and any hook size as well. My pattern outlines are not sized, so the garment will be designed to fit YOU!
I designed Cobblestone to be worn with a long john top or turtleneck under, as there are mesh rows running throughout.
Cobblestone is not difficult to make – the pattern repeat is 6 rows, and very easy to spot and keep track of.
The sleeves are solid, except for a mesh accent at the cuff to bring the design elements together. The neckline is a long rectangle, which mimics the mesh stitch used throughout the sweater.
Here at On The Hook, I want this pattern outline and all my patterns to fit YOU! This depends on your very first measurements. Be sure to log your numbers in the spaces provided, so next time you will know how you made it the first time.
This pattern is designed for beginners and advanced beginning crocheters. The instructions are clear and detailed and written in an easy to understand format.
Enjoy and Happy Crocheting!
Jeanne
