Enjoy a day at the beach with this easy to crochet coverup! You might also use this for a tunic to wear over a tank and shorts for that walk along the ocean or down to your favorite ice cream shop.
You will need about 600 to 1000 yards of size 4 yarn for a shirt length top, and if you plan to wear this to the beach, select a yarn with some cotton. I used 3 skeins of 24/7 Cotton from Lion Brand. Select a fruity bright color which will make your Cabana Coverup stand out or select a neutral like Ecru to go with everything! 24/7 offers a nice Taupe color – a bit darker neutral.

I’ve designed this tunic with easy armhole and neckline shaping, but a beginner crocheter can do it.

This Cabana Coverup is crocheted in the round from the bottom to the underarm, then you split and continue crocheting the top front and back. Very easy!! And a quick make, as well.
