Description
I created this sweater in a basic design, with ribbed sleeve hems, and ribbed neckline and sweater hem.
For me, that’s a basic design – this one is different than most, though, as the sleeves are crocheted right into the front and back fabric. I love to design patterns using this method, because they are more successful for those who choose to crochet in this efficient and beautiful way.
Adding ribbing at neckline, sleeves and hem after the garment is complete is no different than doing it first in the crochet world. Actually, it is much easier to do — there is no sewing ribbing on, which slows you down and adds a huge step. I explain how to add a rib right on to the edge of a crocheted fabric, so you can repeat the process on a hat, or vest, or anywhere on your sweater designs — adding another option to make your crocheted garments special.
Crochet your Archangel design to fit YOU. This pattern is not ‘sized’ nor does it have any stitch counts to keep up with.
Happy Crocheting!
