Description
Enjoy moving into spring with this versatile V-Neck pullover sweater — Orange and Onyx.
I crocheted it with trendy Burnt Orange — stripes are optional, but give this sweater a very casual look. Design it your way! Use different yarns, hook sizes, and make it ‘boxy’ or fitted – whatever suits you and your body type. You will find this pattern is an outline – a recipe of sorts – so you can design it to work in your wardrobe.
I made this prototype with wool and acrylic blended yarn from Ice Yarn – Chenille Wool Flamme to be exact – which is wound with a tiny onyx mohair accent yarn. Stripes were crocheted with a plain #4 black yarn.
Short sleeves add to the casual look – style it with a long sleeve tee or turtleneck underneath, or, if you crochet it with a light weight cotton blend yarn, you can add this pullover to your spring wardrobe. If you crochet with a tighter or more dense stitch (you might choose a smaller hook, to make it simple), you can wear your Orange & Onyx without needing coverage underneath.
Take a few minutes to crochet a swatch with your favorite yarn, to see how it will look as fabric for your new pullover!
Happy Crocheting!
